2016 Japanese Magazine Non-no April Issue Interview

Q. A part of your body that you like?
A. My eyes. Because i heard a lot of people saying that “you have a clear eyes”. From a part of my body, I like my hands. Usually a man’s hand look more rough but my fingers are thin and long and i like it.

Q. Your impression of japanese fan?
A. They have great manners! when the song is playing they silently listen to it, and when it ends they give a big applause. When i see that i feel happy beyond words.

Q. Among japanese culture, what work is memorable to you?
A. It’s drama titled ‘Hanzawa Naoki’, the drama story about an ordinary banker working his way to the top is very interesting, moreover sakai masato acting is very great, i fell for it!

Q. Where will you go if you had a one day date with a fan?
A. I will go to daikanyama, it’s a place in japan that i like the most! Because the buildings and the road are beautiful there I think it will be fun even if we just walking together on the road.

Q. What moment do you feel close to the members?
A. When we talk about useless things. because there are no misunderstanding we can talk lightly about everything.

Q. When you came to japan, what is the thing you frequently buy?
A. Ingredients for ochazuke (t/n a japanese dish of green tea over rice). Especially something that taste like wasabi. Although I can’t stand the feel to touch my nose (laughs). Once I ate ochazuke every morning for one week. But I didn’t get bored of it, it’s a dish i really like.

Q. What are your favorite items that you bought in japan?
A. It’s difficult to say because there are too many. I don’t buy much clothes in korea, and in japan there are lots of simple items that i like so i buy it a lot unknowingly.

Q. When you were a child, what is the job that you want to do when you grow up?
A. Singer and actor, I never had a thought of other things beside these two. Because I’m in EXO I can sing and as an actor I’m challenging acting right now. I feel very thankful that my two dream when I was a child is coming true.

Q. What are the things you want to do in the future?
A. I want to make nukazuke (t/n japanese pickle). I heard that it is very difficult to make so I really want to try it! Because when I’m alone I like to concentrate in making something i’m also interested in DIY stuff.
