(this interview is to support '100 Days Husband' broadcast in Japan)
Q. Wondeuk who liked beef pancake. In the drama (beef pancake) appeared in the birthday celebration scene, do you want to eat a specific dish when you're celebrating a special day?
A. O - I do! However I eat pollack pancake instead of beef pancake on my birthday. It's a dish I really like. As for japanese food that I want to eat right now is hitsumabushi! I like natto too but I'm not in the mood for it right now (laughs). Because it's cold during winter season, I want to eat a warm hitsumabushi.
Q. A behind-the-scene photo of you with a puppy is revealed, do you quickly get friendly with animals?
A. This one is also an O! My secret in getting close with animals? Um, I think that whatever the animal is, you need to put importance on being considerate for them. You shouldn't touch them as soon as you see them because they look cute but you let them smell you first, in order to slowly becoming friendly with them you need to go step by step like stepping into a ladder. I've been liking animals since I was a kid and I like both cats and dogs. My pets are named Hochoo and Meongmool and I always received a healing energy from them. I'm happy when I looked at these cute babies. They're especially cute when they're like 'play with us~' and asked to be cared, it's like they'd look at me in the eyes and said 'let's play~'.
Q. The filming in the fierce summer heat must have been tough.
A. O - I choose this because we were filming during the hottest summer season ever. Especially because we were wearing hanbok instead of casual clothing that we usually wear, and we cannot wear a short-sleeved shirt too....because back then all wear long-sleeved outfit. That is the difficult part but it also a new experience to be wearing hanbok like that for the fist time. Moreover, I'm the type that stand the heat better than cold. If the weather's cold, my mouth and body become stiff so it's difficult to act. But when it's hot, it is easier to act even when I'm sweating.
Q. Just like Wondeuk who surprised his surroundings by reciting a poem, I also have a special side of me that'd surprise people around.
A. O - I do. It's cooking. I tell about this at some point to my fans and my friends but because I like to eat delicious foods I recently started cooking. I cooked korean food and I'm also learning how to make japanese foods but I haven't got the chance to practice it...However, I tried making a hitsumabushi kind of dish. Hitsumabushi has eel in it but I changed it with beef and made it into a rice-bowl dish that is eaten like ochazuke. It's a recipe that I thought by myself and it was really delicious.
Q. Like Wondeuk who gifted Hongshim a bouquet of flower, I also like giving presents to people.
A. O - I like doing it. I recently gifted my member Chen a zip-up hooded parka jacket. I'm the type that'd do some research first before choosing the gift. I think it's best to choose a present that would make the receiver feel really happy so I'd ask them directly (laughs). I originally wanted to give Chen a clothing as a present so I took picture of the gift candidate and I ask him which one is his style. I purchased the one that Chen choose and gave it to him.
